Through the repeated visits of the staff of our organization to the work sites of the Asian investment companies implementing the projects of building model schools, it was found that they did not care about the rights of workers in terms of not organizing regular work contracts for them that would guarantee their rights, and these violations are a clear violation of the binding instructions contained in the Iraqi Labor Law No. 37 of 2015.
Therefore, our organization urges the concerned authorities to follow up on these companies and oblige them to implement the instructions and hold the violating parties accountable to ensure the rights of local workers.
