To monitor the extent to which human rights and labor rights standards are applied by foreign investment companies,<\/p>\n

 In charge of building (1000) schools in all governorates of Iraq and investigating the following topics: –<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Providing a safe and appropriate educational environment for children and students within the designs for school construction.<\/li>\n
  2. 2. The extent of the application of law 2 of 2009 regarding the employment of Iraqi manpower by investment companies operating in Iraq.<\/li>\n
  3. 3. Follow up on the extent to which the humanitarian standards of Iraqi workers\u2019 rights are applied by foreign investment companies in line with the Labor Law in Iraq No. 37 of 2015.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

     <\/p>\n

    In order to develop an appropriate action plan to conduct field visits to the work sites, in coordination and joint cooperation with the relevant government institutions, a meeting was held with Mr. Jassem Muhammad Al-Mafraji, Director of Works and Maintenance of Kirkuk Branch, to address this issue.<\/p>\n
