Recently, the district of<br \/>\nAl-Kahl\u2019a in southern Iraq witnessed widespread protests in front of a gas station in the Halfaiya<br \/>\ninvestment oil fields, demanding the employment of Iraqi manpower in those companies, according to<br \/>\n(link): https:\/\/www.almirbad.com\/detail\/118507<br \/>\nAccordingly, the NIHR recommends the following:<br \/>\n1- The commitment of the relevant government agencies to implement Regulation No. 2 of 2009<br \/>\nregarding the employment of Iraqi manpower in investment companies by 50%, provided that the<br \/>\nproportion of young graduates is not less than 30%, and to follow up on the implementation of this by<br \/>\nthose companies.<br \/>\n2 &#8211; The commitment of young demonstrators to peaceful mechanisms and methods in the right to<br \/>\ndemonstrate in order to avoid bodily injury and legal accountability.<br \/>\n3- Preserving public and private property and not causing damage during demonstrations.<\/p>\n<p>https:\/\/www.almirbad.com\/detail\/118507<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>NIHR fears the increasing frequency of protests and demands by young graduates and other demonstrators in many cities and regions of Iraq, demanding job opportunities.
