{"id":639,"date":"2015-04-30T09:11:07","date_gmt":"2015-04-30T06:11:07","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.nihriq.org\/?p=639"},"modified":"2015-04-30T09:11:07","modified_gmt":"2015-04-30T06:11:07","slug":"the-national-institute-for-human-rights-adopts-the-campaign-of-advocacy-for-supporting-the-persons-with-disabilities","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.nihriq.org\/?p=639","title":{"rendered":"The National Institute for Human Rights&#8230; Adopts the campaign of advocacy for supporting the persons with disabilities"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The national Institute for Human Rights campaigns for advocacy by gathering<\/p>\n<p>signatures to attain some demands that would alleviate suffering and the challenges<\/p>\n<p>facing them in society as well as activating their role as active citizens in building the<\/p>\n<p>new Iraqi society and attain public demands for every citizen in a democratic Iraq<\/p>\n<p>must take course and the right guaranteed by the Constitution regarding freedom of<\/p>\n<p>opinion and expression and the fateful decisions of public affairs , And also had a<\/p>\n<p>great historical role in voting on the Constitution and referendum, so they have the<\/p>\n<p>right to opinion and demand the activation of some articles that make their role non-<\/p>\n<p>less important than other people in the public interest foremost and interest of this<\/p>\n<p>segment in particular by granting them their rights contained in the international<\/p>\n<p>conventions and the Declaration on the rights of persons with disabilities according to<\/p>\n<p>article (32) of the Iraqi Constitution, which states that (the country most take care of<\/p>\n<p>persons with disabilities and people with special needs and ensure their rehabilitation<\/p>\n<p>in order to reintegrate them into society and organized by law), to achieve the<\/p>\n<p>following rights:<\/p>\n<p>Establish a national body in the Parliament for the disabled and the handicapped with the<\/p>\n<p>following duties:<\/p>\n<p>a. Giving special privileges to persons with disabilities such as providing housing and<\/p>\n<p>b. Granting rewarding salaries of their disabilities prevent them from engaging in<\/p>\n<p>c.
