In order to build the capacities of women in the
field of leadership and enable them to actively participate in the implementation of the national plan related to UN Security Council Resolution 1325, and with the support of the Cordaid organization, the National Institute for Human Rights (NIHR) involved 15 women affected by armed conflicts in the areas of Khanaqin, Jalawla, Al-Saadiya, as well as Hamrin in Diyala Governorate In a training workshop to build their capacities on leadership, during which they were provided with knowledge, mechanisms and information using various training methods.
