The International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women and Girls coincides with the (Unite to End Violence against Women) campaign for the period from 25 November to 10 December 2022 led by the Secretary-General of the United Nations and UN Women since 2008, which aims to mobilize all spectrums of societies in the world to work  To prevent and eliminate violence against women and girls, and to call for a world free of all forms of violence against them.

 In conjunction with this occasion, NIHR, as a defender of human rights, including women and girls, honored 12 women leaders in society by granting them a shield entitled (You Can) in appreciation of their role in advocating women’s issues.
