As part of efforts to strengthen partnerships between official institutions and civil society organizations, a delegation from the National Institute for Human Rights visited the Women, Family, and Child Affairs Department at the Kirkuk Governorate Office, where they were received by Ms. Intisar Karim Abdullah, the department director.

During the meeting, they discussed prospects for cooperation and joint coordination in implementing programs and activities aimed at protecting and promoting human rights, with a focus on supporting women, families, and children and raising awareness of fundamental rights. This contributes to consolidating the principles of social justice and empowering the most vulnerable groups.

Both parties emphasized the importance of continued cooperation, the exchange of expertise, and joint efforts to implement initiatives that serve the community, in line with the government’s objectives to promote human rights and achieve sustainable development.
