On February 18, 2026, the National Institute for Human Rights signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Women’s Empowerment Organization, a strategic step reflecting its firm commitment to human rights principles and enhancing the status of women in society.

This MoU aims to broaden the horizons of institutional cooperation and unify efforts in the areas of women’s empowerment, supporting their leadership role, and working to improve their living conditions in terms of services, economy, social welfare, and legal status. It also seeks to exchange expertise and leverage the available resources of both parties to strengthen women’s active participation in the sustainable development process.

The National Institute for Human Rights affirmed that this partnership aligns with its commitment to supporting initiatives that solidify the principles of justice and equality and establish women as essential partners in building a more progressive and cohesive society.
