Social justice is more than just a moral necessity, it is the basis of national stability and global prosperity, and equal employment opportunities, solidarity and respect for human rights contribute to increasing the productive capacities of nations and peoples. This is what the Secretary-General of the United Nations stated on the occasion of the International Day of Social Justice.

On the same occasion, NIHR calls on decision-makers in parliament, government and all state institutions to achieve parity to provide job opportunities for young people and deal with them in accordance with the standards of equality and transparency, as well as parity in the provision of basic public services, especially access to vulnerable and marginalized communities, as this is the main way to achieve social justice in Iraq.
