On 16 November 2025, a joint meeting was held between Women Empowerment Organization (WEO) and the National Institute for Human Rights to explore opportunities for cooperation and strengthen strategic partnerships between the two sides in the fields of women’s rights and empowerment.

From WEO, the meeting was attended by Ms. Suzan Aref, President of the Organization, and Mr. Basit Wahab, Director of Program Development. From the National Institute for Human Rights, attendees included Ms. Rehab Massoud, President of the Institute, Mr. Samir Nour Al-Din, Executive Director, and Mr. Sartip Ali, Member of the Administrative Board.

The meeting discussed ways to benefit from the expertise of both organizations to improve the quality of services provided in the areas they cover. It also included an exchange of views on strengthening women’s leadership and participation in decision-making spaces, ِand increasing their presence and effective engagement in ways that support both the family and society.
