Once the success story of the Arab Spring demonstrations and a former hub for human rights defenders from across North Africa, people in Tunisia, including asylum seekers, refugees, migrants and others, are paying a heavy price, while Europe condones the rampant repression of human rights in Tunisia, as representatives of the so-called Europe team shook hands with Tunisian President Qais Saied, hundreds of refugees and migrants were stranded in desert border areas between Tunisia and Libya after the Tunisian security forces arrested them and left them without food, water or shelter, and recorded many deaths among them as a result, and shocking in the matter that the leaders of the European Union did not issue any public statements condemning the humanitarian situation in Tunisia.
